Mister D

I started playing a few tunes at friends house parties in the early 80's. Following a donation to the school of some 7" vinyl, which the deputy head gave me my journey began.

I got my first pub residency at 18 at The Coach and Horses in Dartford and rest as they say is history. Over the years I have played Clubs, Bars and Pubs in mainly  Bexleyheath & Dartford areas. I promoted a night called Boogie Wonderland at Foggs/Zerobar in Bexleyheath for over 15 years which purely specialised in Soul, Disco and Funk till the venue shut.

The name Mister D came from a pet name given to me when at school derived from my surname D'Mello  and the fact I always corrected people by saying D "apostrophe" Mello not Demello.
